Hillsboro Hops New Ballpark Under Construction — Opening Expected in 2026

The City of Hillsboro is partnering with the Hillsboro Hops minor league baseball team to build a brand new ballpark on the northwest side of the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex, with construction currently ongoing and an expected opening in 2026. The year-round outdoor entertainment venue is designed to host more than 300 events per year — including festivals, community events, amateur baseball, concerts, and Hops games — and will also support the team’s efforts to meet new Major League Baseball High-A full season requirements, representing a significant investment in Hillsboro’s entertainment and commercial infrastructure.
