Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau Names 2026 Projects of the Year — From the Ritz-Carlton to the Seattle Aquarium
The Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau has announced its 2026 Project of the Year award winners, recognizing outstanding work by signatory contractors across Oregon and Washington — with Western Partitions, Inc. earning top honors in the Interior Over $1 Million category for Block 216, the Ritz-Carlton Portland development, and Alliance Partition System recognized in the same category for the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion in Washington. Other Oregon winners included Fred Shearer & Sons for the Beaverton Year-Round Shelter, Mid-Valley Commercial Construction for the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple, Performance Contracting for the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Emergency Department Addition, Cascade Acoustics for the Clackamas County Circuit Courthouse, and The Harver Company for two awards — the Benson Polytechnic High School Modernization and the Hope Plaza project. The awards span the full range of wall and ceiling work — from suspended ceilings and light-gauge steel framing to stucco, EIFS, renovation, and restoration — reflecting the breadth of specialized interior construction work being performed across the Pacific Northwest. For specialty subcontractors in the wall and ceiling trades, the NWCB awards are the regional benchmark for excellence and a valuable business development credential. Walls & Ceilings
