Oregon Offering Up to $50,000 Per Building in Clean Buildings Compliance Incentives — Applications Due July 10

Oregon’s Department of Energy has approximately $1.2 million available in its second round of Early Compliance Action and Planning Program incentives to help building owners offset costs associated with complying with the state’s Building Performance Standard — including energy benchmarking, reporting, and energy audits — with applications due from eligible building owners by 5 p.m. on July 10, 2026. The program offers approximately $950,000 in total incentives for Tier 1 buildings and $250,000 for Tier 2 buildings, with maximum incentives ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 per building depending on type and size. For commercial contractors and energy retrofit specialists, this incentive program is a direct catalyst for the retrofit work that the Clean Buildings Performance Standard is generating — building owners who apply now are the same clients who will be hiring contractors for HVAC upgrades, insulation, and energy system replacements in the months ahead. ODOE is holding open office hours webinars on June 3 and June 24 at 1 p.m. for questions. Washington State Department of TransportationWashington State Department of Transportation
