Tri-Tech Skills Center’s $45.5 Million Modernization on Track for July 2026 Completion

Kennewick School District’s $45.5 million modernization of Tri-Tech Skills Center is on schedule for completion in July 2026, setting it up to expand popular training programs and add new career pathways. National Association of Home Builders Steel beams are already erected for the 66,000-square-foot project on the west side of the campus, which will include infrastructure upgrades to the school’s main building — originally built in 1981 — along with reconfigured instructional spaces to accommodate potential new pharmacy tech and HVAC/plumbing programs. Tri-Tech serves juniors and seniors from high schools across Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and surrounding districts, making it a critical regional workforce pipeline. The project is fully state-funded.
